Police quiz man found carrying homemade ‘gunpowder’ near U.S. Embassy in Tokyo

A person has been questioned by police for possessing a vessel containing what gave the impression to be home made gunpowder close to the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo earlier this week, investigative sources stated Wednesday.

The person in his 20s was quoted as telling police, “I realized the right way to make gunpowder on the web and got here to throw it into the embassy,” prompting police to analyze him on suspicion of violating the explosives management legislation, the sources stated.
